The Rasmussen 20" White Birch FP20WB gas log set is my favorite for when I want to go full rustic elegance without, you know, actually splitting logs or pretending I enjoy the smell of smoke in my hair.
This set features a big, beautiful birch log playing it cool on the ground while nine smaller birch logs lean against it like they’ve had a long day. This lean-to arrangement encourages the flame to stretch out horizontally across the bottom log, making the whole fire feel more dramatic and a bit theatrical (yes, I appreciate a fire that knows its angles).
This set was cast from actual birch logs, which means it captures all that flaky white bark detail without the mess. It’s made of high-heat refractory concrete and finished with ceramic coloration, so nothing smells weird when things get hot.
