Keystoker Wood Stove Door Gasket Kit – 6 Ft 3/4" Rope Gasket & Cement

from $34.18
Gasket Kit:

Keeping your Keystoker wood stove running efficiently starts with a tight door seal—and this gasket kit makes that job straightforward and reliable.

The Keystoker Wood Stove Door Gasket Kit includes 6 feet of 3/4" round fiberglass rope gasket infused with black graphite for added durability. It’s designed to create a strong, heat-resistant seal that stays flexible, even under constant opening, closing, and high-heat use. Rated for temperatures up to 1000°F, this gasket won’t unravel, harden, or fail when your stove is working at its hardest.

The fiberglass rope easily conforms to curved door channels and bonds well to most stove materials, making installation smooth and frustration-free. Once installed, it restores an airtight seal that helps your stove burn more efficiently, reduces air leaks, and keeps heat where it belongs—inside your home.

This gasket is non-asbestos, environmentally friendly, moisture-resistant, and mildew-resistant, so it won’t absorb water or break down over time. The kit also includes your choice of clear gasket adhesive or traditional stove gasket cement, so you can install it the way you prefer.

Installation Tips

Preparation:
Remove the old gasket completely, clean out the channel, and ensure the surface is free of debris before installing the new gasket with stove gasket cement.

Application:
For best results, I always recommend using a proper gasket adhesive or stove gasket cement—not silicone. Our cements are designed to securely bond the gasket while also sealing minor cracks or pinholes in the stove body.

Important: High-temperature silicone sealants should not be used for attaching stove gaskets or repairing stoves or inserts.

Choosing the Correct Gasket Size

Selecting the right gasket size is essential for maintaining proper airflow and stove performance.

  • Check your stove manual for the correct replacement part number

  • Contact Keystoker directly if you’re unsure

  • Measure the gasket channel (width and depth) and choose the size that fits snugly

  • Measure the old gasket length and always buy slightly longer—you can trim excess

Common gasket sizes include 3/16”, 1/4", 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, and 1”. If measurements are listed in millimeters, remember that 12mm is roughly 1/2 inch.

Still unsure? No stress. Use our free printable gasket measuring template to find the perfect fit with confidence.

A proper gasket may be a small part—but it makes a big difference in how your Keystoker stove performs, heats, and lasts.
